Performing diagnostic tests: Helping perform diagnostic tests and analyzing the results

Operating medical equipment: Operating and monitoring medical equipment

Responding to emergencies: Responding quickly to emergencies

Planning discharges: Planning discharges from hospital and liaising with GPs and other healthcare professionals

Reassuring patients: Reassuring patients and their relatives and communicating effectively with them

Salary for experienced: 5 to 7 patients handling 8k to 15k more than 10 patients 15k to 20k and less than 5 patients 3k to 7k.

Duty timing: 6 to 7 hours + OT with lodging and food free.

A phlebotomist’s responsibilities include:

Patient preparation: Greeting patients, helping them check in, and explaining procedures

Patient identification: Using accurate patient identification techniques

Blood draw: Performing venipuncture, or drawing blood from a patient’s vein

Sample preparation: Preparing blood for medical testing, labeling the sample, and storing it

Communication: Keeping patients calm and explaining the procedure clearly

Legal regulations: Understanding legal regulations related to blood drawing, specimen handling, and medical equipment usage

Tool sterilization: Sterilizing tools and disposing of used equipment

Inventory: Maintaining an inventory of equipment

Phlebotomists may also run tests on blood samples in hospitals and clinics.
