A 2-year experienced B-Tech Mechanical Engineer with AutoCAD knowledge would be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, collaborating with engineering teams, ensuring designs comply with standards, and maintaining documentation. They would also be involved in design reviews, troubleshooting, and staying updated on relevant technologies.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:

Design and Development:
Create detailed mechanical designs using AutoCAD software.
Develop both 2D and 3D models for components and systems.
Translate conceptual designs into technical drawings and specifications.
Optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct design reviews and incorporate feedback from stakeholders.

Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and project managers.
Communicate design specifications and requirements effectively.
Work closely with production, manufacturing, and maintenance teams.

Technical Documentation and Analysis:
Create and maintain accurate and up-to-date technical documentation.
Perform simulations and analyses to validate designs.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related issues.

Quality Assurance:
Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Staying Updated:
Maintain current knowledge of AutoCAD and other relevant software.
Keep up-to-date with advancements in mechanical engineering and design.Specific examples of tasks might include:
Developing detailed drawings for a new machine component.
Creating a 3D model of a complex assembly.
Performing stress analysis on a critical part using simulation software.
Troubleshooting a design flaw that is causing a manufacturing issue.
