The following positions are required to meet the operational needs of the hotel/resort.

Job Title: Captain (Hotel / Resort / Restaurant)
Job Summary:
A Captain in a hotel or resort is responsible for supervising the restaurant staff, ensuring smooth dining operations, maintaining high standards of service, and creating an exceptional guest experience. They act as the link between guests, kitchen, and service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
Guest Service & Experience
Greet guests, take reservations, and escort them to their tables.
Ensure guests receive excellent service and handle special requests or complaints.
Suggest food & beverage pairings and assist guests in menu selection.

Team Supervision & Training
Supervise waiters, stewards, and other service staff on the floor.
Allocate duties and monitor staff performance.
Conduct training sessions to maintain service standards.

Order Management
Take guest orders and coordinate with kitchen & bar for timely preparation.
Check that food & drinks are served correctly and on time.
Ensure special dietary requirements or requests are met.

Restaurant Operations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant.
Oversee table settings, cutlery, crockery, and service equipment.
Manage shift schedules and ensure staff availability during peak hours.

Billing & Reporting
Handle guest billing, close checks, and report daily sales.
Maintain records of reservations, complaints, and feedback.

Compliance & Standards
Follow hotel SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for F&B service.
Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards.

Skills Required:
Strong leadership & team management skills.
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of food & beverages, menu planning, and service standards.
Ability to handle guest complaints calmly and professionally.
Time management & multitasking ability.

Qualification:
Minimum: 12th Pass (Degree/Diploma in Hotel Management preferred).
Experience: 2–4 years in F&B service, with at least 1 year as a Captain or Supervisor.
